What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject.

About Doppelganger?

Doppelganger? has been open since January 20, 2009 and was approved on December 21, 2008. Lyle Dylandy, is the character I have been waiting most impatiently to meet in Gundam 00’s season 2.  I guess the main reason was the fact that I love his twin brother, Neil immensely.  Though I knew they were identical physically (and man does that family have good genes or what *__*), something I always kept in my mind was that they were two completely different people. But I must say Lyle shot me straight in the heart very quickly; a lot quicker than I had expected him to and still does despite all of Sunrise's wacky ideas lol.  His enthusiasm to join Celestial being was so adorable; That’s a word I find myself using often for Lyle, “adorable”, because he’s just so.

I would like to point something out about the title. Though the word doppelganger may have an ominous meaning, I'm using it in the sense that Lyle sometimes feels like he's his brother's double or stand in; and I believe most people also have this perception of him sometimes. (He does not obsess on the fact but it is surely something thay troubles him or is on his mind in terms of his performance as a meister, etc.)

About Lyle

Lyle gives off the impression of having been sheltered and pampered by his brother all this time. This makes him the adorable little brother being overprotected by his older brother. But what I admire about Lyle is the fact that even though he lived a comfortable life, something Neil made sure of by supporting him financially, he decided to join Kataron to make a difference in the world instead of sitting back and watching the world sink in more tragic wars.

His flirteous and cocky personality is one of the things I enjoy the most. He practically hits on everyone, (even Tieria) without even batting an eyelash. (That's yet another thing that I simply loved, the way he seems to follow Tieria around and is even a little scared of him. lol) Whether it's innocent or not, it's still something we don't know, but he has proven to be a wonderful comic relief and that air of "normal" amongst the crew and the meisters respectively. Though he's smiles and confidence in a bag, the fact of being compared to his brother is something that seems to be hovering on him like a dark rain cloud. Perhaps he feels he is not being given a chance to show who he really is, he is being measured at all times against his brother, as a man, as a meister, as a comrade.

Perhaps further along the way this will show us a new side to him, which will make him an even more complex and interesting character. Whether his allegiance to Celestial Being is only on the surface or only in part, that really wouldn't change my point of view of him in any way. In recent episodes, Lyle has been shown to have a strong will and a big concern for human life, specifically for his fellow comrades from Kataron. This makes me think that his reason to fight is something he does not take lightly, and makes him all the more admirable.
