the why and the fangirl

Yes you have to deal with my fangirl rant first. The reason why I love this man cannot be explained so easily. Lets just say I fell for him since the first moment I saw him. I honestly began to watch Gundam 00 because I had heard Mamoru Miyano would be in the cast. When I first saw the character pics I remember saying to myself, "I'm sure Setsuna is the hot brunette in the green suit". XD

 

Then I saw the first episode, and I fell in love more and more. He was not only HOT, had a hot voice (bless his seiyuu) , but OMG...he was a SNIPER nonetheless!!! (I have a thing for guys who can handle their guns *cough*) And yeah he had Haro xD. Of course as the series progressed I realized he was in fact an amazing human being. Always smiling and giving others strength. I guess what I admired most about him, besides the way everyone loved and respected him, was the fact that despite the horrible tragedy and the loss he had to undergo 10 years before, he always always kept that smile, that kindness, that sweetness; he didn't over complicate things, was funny, charming, and was always committed. Yes he wanted revenge and hated terrorists, but he wasn't bitter and consumed like other characters I have seen who live for revenge and not for a chance to really change the world not just for you but for everyone who is a part of it.

 

So I do not only love him, but I admire him inmensely. I don't rarely obsess with a character, and to be quite honest I am amazed at how much he has affected me. Which is why I so proudly say I am his fan, for all the reasons anyone could love him and more. And even though certain things happen, I will always always feel the same way.

about the smexy domain

LOCKON-STRATOS.NET, was born on March 29th, 2008, becoming the third domain I so proudly have come to own. It took me forever to make up my mind and finally acquire this domain. I remembered asking around and checking if it was available every single day. I finally decided I should do it for the following reasons:

  1. I LOVE Lockon Stratos (and my dearest friends have to bear with this everyday lol)
  2. After the events in the final episodes for season 1, I decided getting a domain in his name would be a proper tribute.
  3. March was almost over and his birthday is in March so I just HAD to get it before the month ended lol.

I was mostly worried because I thought I'd probably would have nothing under it for a good while. But I was later approved for the relationship fanlisting between Lockon & Tieria (which I proudly co-own with the awesome Chiqui) and then I stopped worrying lol. I have high hopes that our network will grow and that in time I'll be able to have a proper tribute online.

Current layout is entitled "In your memory"; I used some flowers and one of my favorite pics of him, as well as the lovely ones from the manga. The colors are earth tones, its funny how I ended up with a completely different color palette than the one I had in mind at first lol. The Haros in the nav are of course my fave part xD you can't have a Lockon tribute without Haro!
